Job Summary:
This vital administrative role provides the details and doing that helps keep Boss Products UK running! As well as performing data entry, calculating and processing financial data, this interactive role will assist with keeping financial records complete and compiling the necessary information to keep our team advised and up to date. Performing any combination of calculating, posting, and verification duties to obtain primary financial data for use in maintaining accounting records you will work with all departments to check the accuracy of figures, calculations, and postings relating to all business transactions recorded by colleagues. Job duties are likely to grow with experience and service in our rapidly expanding company!
Main Duties:
1. Use accounting software to record, store, and analyse financial data.
2. Verify the accuracy of entries, postings, and documents; manage routine data entry for accounts payable, billing, and receivables.
3. Review billing statements and invoices for discrepancies; notify supervisors of issues.
4. Distribute accounting reports as needed.
5. Assist with mail, phone duties, and other clerical tasks.
6. Provide bookkeeping services.
7. Prepare bank deposits by compiling cashier data and verifying receipts.
8. Classify and summarize financial data to maintain records using journals, ledgers, or computers.
9. Perform other duties as assigned or requested.
Skills and Qualifications:
1. Strong knowledge of clerical procedures, office management systems, and terminology (e.g., word processing, filing, transcription).
2. Familiarity with economic and business accounting principles, banking, and financial data analysis.
3. Excellent verbal and written communication skills.
4. Ability to build credibility with leadership and colleagues.
5. Strong problem-solving and anticipation skills.
6. Exceptional organisational skills with the ability to manage multiple projects.
7. Able to meet deadlines and goals under pressure.

9. Accurate data entry skills.
Education and Experience:
1. Secondary level education - Required; College HNC/HND and above- Preferred
2. QuickBooks/Sage knowledge and experience - Preferred
3. Bachelor’s degree in related field - Preferred
Preferred Software Knowledge:
1. Inventory Management System(s) – Oracle, SalesForce, Fishbowl, etc…Preferred
2. Microsoft Office Suite Proficiency - Preferred
3. QuickBooks/Sage Proficiency - Preferred
