Job Title: Workplace Assistant\n\nLength of Assignment: Temp to Perm\n\nHours: 8AM-5PM, paid weekly.\n\nLocation: Reading RG1 2LU \n\nThe Workplace Assistant role is responsible for managing the general office duties including reception, print, post, archiving and stationery.\n\nThis role provides essential services to the business in an efficient, timely manner to both internal and external clients.\n\nDUTIES AND RESPONSIBILITIES:\n\nTasks to include, but are not limited to:\n\nManage, sort/scan incoming post\nCopying, scanning and printing\nReplenish stationery cupboards as/ when needed and as per scheduled guidelines\nBook courier requests as per incoming client requests, including providing labels and delivery of items to loading bay/ main building receptions\nComplete scheduled mail runs including collection post, sent out as outlined by client (1st, 2nd, Special or Recorded)\nMeeting rooms - assist FOH team with set up of meeting rooms as per Client request (including moving furniture)\nGeneral Porterage - delivery of incoming items to floors including print, files, boxes, kitchen items, bulk paper and any other ad hoc deliveries\nProvide an archive and retrieval service for our clients, both internal and external; for all client files, deeds and wills.\nTo continue to integrate all pre-existing card/paper records into an electronic format to include scanning documents where necessary prior to being sent to secure offsite storage.\nTo provide ongoing support for all existing partners, fee earners and legal administrators with their records to include; amending, integrating, amalgamating, relocating, thinning and, where applicable, destruction of files in line with company guidance.\nTo support, investigate, troubleshoot and problem-solve when queries arise on behalf of the fee earners/partners - whether it be a legacy matter or new business.\nAny other ad hoc duties as directed by Management \n\nPERSON SPECIFICATION:\n\nExcellent attention to detail and high degree of accuracy is imperative\nFlexible approach to work\nPositive attitude\nGreat client service skills\nIt is imperative that you are able to work as part of a team \n\nHere are just some of the benefits you can expect while working on behalf of Office Angels:\n\nEmployed directly with Office Angels, meaning we're always on hand to ensure you're being well looked after\nAccess to discount vouchers with many high street brands\nEye care vouchers\nWeekly pay\nPension scheme option (with employer contributions)28 days paid annual leave (Based on a weekly accrual)\n\nLocation: Reading RG1 2LU \n\nPlease note: Due to the high volume of applications we receive, we regret that only shortlisted candidates will be contacted for further discussion.\n\nPlease apply today if you are interested or contact \n\nOffice Angels acts as an employment agency for permanent recruitment and an employment business for the supply of temporary workers.
