As a division of Signature Aviation, Signature TECHNICAir EMEA operates a full service, CAA & EASA certified Part 145 Repair Station at Bournemouth airport, in conjunction with strategically positioned mobile service units based at Farnborough and Luton airports that serve a wide range of capabilities, across the UK and Europe.
Your new role:
We are seeking a Training and Compliance Support Officer to join our team. Reporting to the Technical Training Manager, this essential role combines compliance, auditing, and technical training responsibilities. The successful candidate will construct, administer, and deliver non-regulated technical training courses, such as General Familiarisation and Recurrent Training, and support the Technical Training Manager. Additionally, this role assists with auditing functions.
Principle Duties and Responsibilities
* Deliver high quality professional training courses and materials
* When applicable, accompany employees off site to evaluate training courses to facilitate progress monitoring
* Maintain training material in line with both regulatory and organisational changes
* Ensure that training materials are appropriate to the requirements for each course and individuals' requirements
* Design training materials that reflect company standards, regulatory requirements, and industry developments
* Perform aircraft training induction surveys, in particular when a new type is added to the approval
* Upkeep and oversight of the technical library database including ongoing revisions to maintenance manuals when appropriate
* Review and generate appropriate checklists and forms associated with the role
* Ensure an adequate knowledge of the area of audit and the applicable regulations
* Arranging audits with the relevant department/contracted activity provider
* Identify and record any non-conformities and opportunities for improvement and provide supporting evidence for such findings
* Conduct debriefing sessions with the auditee and designated personnel, reaching agreement on any findings raised
* Generate the audit report and complete audit paperwork, filing within the company's chosen electronic audit software system
* Follow up on findings with the relevant manager/nominated person/company
* Carry out administrative tasks associated with all areas of responsibility
* Provide advice, assistance, and information to teams and departments within the organisation where and when necessary
About you :
Skills and Qualifications
* Completed or working towards a recognised auditor course
* Strong understanding of the principles and concepts of a compliance monitoring system and its role within an organisation
* Demonstrates excellent communication skills, both written and verbal
* Proficient in computer skills, particularly MS Office
* Fluent in spoken and written English
* Willing and able to travel for the role, both within TechnicAir site and internationally
