Base Lorn & Isles Hospital, Oban with option of hybrid working Argyll & Bute HSCP are seeking an innovative, adaptable individual with a pleasant and helpful manner, who can work well as part of a busy procurement team. As a key member of the team, you will provide support in the provision of an effective and efficient supplies service throughout Argyll & Bute, specifically purchasing a range of commodities which support the provision of healthcare. You will work closely with professionals across a range of disciplines who are committed to making a difference, learn how a complex organisation works, add value to key health services and build a range of transferable skills. A good standard of basic education including Maths and English, or with equivalent relevant work experience, you will have good organisational skills, able to work on your own initiative, be proficient in the use of IT systems including MS Excel and be able to communicate effectively with other team members and staff across the HSCP. An enthusiasm and willingness to learn is essential as full training will be given. The post is based in our Procurement Department at Lorn & Isles Hospital, Oban, with the option of hybrid working. You will be required to regularly work in the office at Lorn & Isles Hospital. You may occasionally be required to travel between various work locations within the Argyll and Bute Locality to meet the operational requirements of the Service.
