Instrument Pipefitter

They are currently seeking a skilled Instrument Pipefitter to join their dynamic team for a short-term contract role at Bacton gas terminal in Norfolk.
Job Description:
As an Instrument Pipefitter, you will play a crucial role in the re-tubing of existing high-pressure equipment. You will be responsible for the installation, maintenance, and repair of piping systems that are essential for the operation of the gas terminal. This is a hands-on role that requires technical expertise, attention to detail, and a strong commitment to safety.
Key Responsibilities:
* Install, maintain, and repair instrument tubing and piping systems for high-pressure equipment.
* Interpret and work from blueprints, isometric drawings, and schematics.
* Ensure all work is performed in compliance with safety standards and industry regulations.
* Perform pressure testing and leak detection on re-tubed systems.
* Collaborate with engineers and other team members to ensure project timelines and goals are met.
* Maintain accurate records of work performed and materials used.
* Troubleshoot and resolve issues related to instrument piping systems.
Qualifications:
* Relevant trade certification or apprenticeship in pipefitting.
* SHEA Gas Certification an advantage though training can be provided.
* Proven experience as an Instrument Pipefitter, preferably in the oil and gas industry.
* Strong knowledge of high-pressure piping systems and instrumentation.
* Proficiency in reading and interpreting technical drawings and schematics.
* Familiarity with relevant safety standards and regulations.
This is a short-term contract role, from 4 th – 12 th July. Travel and accommodation paid if required.
