Job summary An exciting opportunity has arisen for an experienced outpatient supervisor to join our small, friendly team within the Children's Centre in the Princess of Wales Hospital. In this role, you will provide comprehensive outpatient clinic admin support to the consultants, associate specialists, and other allied health professionals, as well as supervisory duties over the outpatient clinic admin & clerical staff. We seek a candidate who can work independently, collaborate effectively with others, and take initiative when needed. The ideal candidate will have excellent supervisory skills, alongside a passion for delivering high-quality customer care. If this sounds like the right opportunity for you, we would love to hear from you Main duties of the job The post holder will provide and maintain a high quality administrative and clerical service to the outpatient department. Working as part of the multi-disciplinary team will help to achieve the highest standards for children and their carers. The post holder will be responsible for the smooth running of the department. They will ensure that arrangements for the various clinics are in place and that clerical support is available as necessary.The post holder will be responsible for audit of waiting times and will assist the Operational Support Manager in the collation of these statistics. The post holder will work independently within UHB policies and procedures. In a changing service, tasks and roles may alter accordingly.
