Working Hours: Part-time, Afternoons Only
We are seeking a dedicated and enthusiastic Teaching Assistant to support our Year 6 classroom on a part-time basis in the afternoons. This role is ideal for someone passionate about helping students reach their full potential during a crucial stage of their primary education.
Key Responsibilities:
Work closely with the Year 6 teacher to support learning activities and classroom management
Provide one-on-one and small group support to help pupils master core subjects
Assist with lesson preparation and materials to enhance student engagement
Support students with varying learning needs, adapting strategies as required
Foster a positive and inclusive classroom environment that promotes learning and confidence
Requirements:
Experience working in a Year 6 classroom or similar setting preferred
A strong understanding of the Year 6 curriculum and SATs preparation
Excellent communication and interpersonal skills
A positive, flexible, and proactive approach to supporting student needs
