Job Summary
We are seeking a dedicated and detail-oriented Pharmacy Dispenser to join our team. The successful candidate will play a crucial role in ensuring the safe and efficient dispensing of medications to patients. This position requires a strong commitment to patient care, excellent organisational skills, and the ability to work collaboratively within a pharmacy environment.
Responsibilities
1. Accurately dispense medications as per prescriptions, ensuring compliance with legal and regulatory requirements.
2. Provide exceptional patient care by answering queries regarding medications and their administration.
3. Assist in the preparation of medication doses, including counting, measuring, and labelling medications.
4. Maintain accurate records of prescriptions dispensed and ensure confidentiality of patient information.
5. Collaborate with pharmacists and pharmacy technicians to optimise medication management processes.
6. Conduct inventory management, including ordering and restocking medications as necessary.
7. Ensure the cleanliness and organisation of the pharmacy workspace, adhering to health and safety standards.
Requirements
1. Previous experience as a Pharmacy Dispenser or in a similar role is highly desirable.
2. Strong knowledge of medication administration practices and patient care principles.
3. Excellent attention to detail with strong organisational skills.
4. Ability to work effectively in a fast-paced environment while maintaining accuracy.
5. Strong communication skills, both verbal and written, to interact with patients and healthcare professionals effectively.
6. A commitment to ongoing professional development within the pharmacy sector is advantageous.

Job Particulars
1. 32 hours per week
2. Tuesday, Wednesday, Thursday, Friday, 9am-6pm (60min lunch)
3. 1 in 4 Saturdays (9am-1pm)
4. 4 Weeks Annual Leave + 9 BH
5. GPHC Fees paid for Technicians, ACDs and ACTs
6. Extra CPD Days for Technicians, ACDs and ACTs
Additional Pay
