Stores and Warehouse Operative – £24,960.00- £27,000 Bonus–Bridge of Don, Aberdeen The Role We are looking for a Stores and Warehouse Operative to join our team. You will play a vital role in maintaining stock levels, handling deliveries and supporting our trade counter. This is a full time, 40 hour per week position working Monday to Thursday 7.30am-16.15 and 07.30am-15.00 on Fridays. Start date 6th Jan Full training will be provided in areas such as forklift operation and manual handling where needed. Key Responsibilities: To pick, pack and ship customer orders accurately, record and check incoming stock. Keeping the trade counter stock topped up and Answering telephone if needed and as required Load and unload our delivery vans. Prepare and organise courier collections for customer orders. Despatching Parcels and Pallets via multiple carrier sites. Move stock around the warehouse and store safely in all product locations Participate in regular stock takes and record any discrepancies. Be able to read and pick stock accurately from a picking ticket and have good counting skills Pack and label accurately and label goods for despatch. The Person Good organisational and communication skills. A positive attitude and always be willing to learn on the job. A full Clean Driving Licence would be advantageous and any Forklift experience with the relevant licences and / or certification would also be relevant, although full training will also be given in this area. Hard working, enthusiastic, honest, physically fit, punctual and reliable person with a good work attendance record. Some basic computer knowledge would be advantageous. High level of attention to detail. Ability to work under pressure and react to change quickly. Manual handling training, preferable but not essential as training will be given Be able to regularly lift weights up to 25kg
