Your role:
As a customer relation specialist, you are responsible for the execution of the customer relations process according to the internal policies and practices. In this position, you manage and process customers’ orders and quotes and provide information about products, services, and order status. Proceed with improvement initiatives, challenge processes, and seek new opportunities to increase customer relations efficiently. This role can be based out of either our Gillingham, Dorset or Poole, Dorset offices.
Key tasks & responsibilities:
1. Deal directly with customer inquiries received via all media (e.g. phone, web, email)
2. Respond to customer inquiries according to SL agreement
3. Proactively look for solutions to customer issues
4. Obtain and evaluate all relevant information to handle inquiries. Follow up on customer interactions.
5. File records of customer interactions and transactions
6. Record details of inquiries, comments, and complaints within the quality management system. Manage administration
7. Communicate and coordinate with internal departments
8. Propose ideas for processes & organizational improvements
9. Consult the manager for making decisions upon needs
10. Maintain awareness of the business environment/competitors
Who you are:
1. Relationship management; comfortable engaging and interacting with people across diverse organizational levels
2. Working experience in a customer-facing environment - preferred
3. Experience working with various computer systems such as Customer Relationship Management (CRM) platforms, SFDC, ERP/SAP, Windows Office Suite - preferred although full training is provided
4. Excellent verbal, written communication, and active listening skills
5. A positive and flexible approach to dealing with customers and know how to organize/prioritize daily tasks
