Corporate Project Support Officer - The Role:
An exciting time to join the new Corporate Projects Team at Rushcliffe and we are looking for a highly organised individual to join the team as the Corporate Projects Support Officer. You will be working at the heart of the organisation supporting teams across the Council, helping us to continue delivering the best service for our residents.
We are looking for someone who has experience of working on projects including completing project documentation, monitoring and reporting. You will need to be comfortable working in a fast paced environment with the ability to prioritise conflicting demands to ensure project prioritisation and delivery.
We promote hybrid working with an average of two days a week in the office at Rushcliffe Arena.
Corporate Project Support Officer - Key Responsibilities:
1. Supporting the Corporate Project Team in delivery of identified corporate projects
2. Updating and reviewing the central database of projects across the Council
3. Providing support to project managers delivering projects, ensuring relevant project management framework documents are completed and kept up to date
4. Co-ordinating, providing administrative support and reporting on projects led by others, including coordinating project team meetings
5. Taking accurate and concise notes of project meetings, identifying actions and following up to ensure these are completed
6. Supporting the Executive Support Team and Chief Executive / EMT as required
7. Support with preparing reports and attending meetings, internal and external to the Council both during and outside normal working hours
8. Supporting the Economic Growth Team with some project and administrative tasks as required
Corporate Project Support Officer - You:
1. GCSEs in English and Maths (Grade AC) or equivalent A Levels
2. Strong computer skills (Word, Excel, PowerPoint)
3. Experience in project work or a project management environment
4. Proficient in project administration, including documentation, monitoring, and reporting
5. Excellent time management with the ability to prioritise competing demands for successful project delivery
6. Experience of working with a wide range of people including senior managers
7. Strong research and report writing skills
