Your Job: Designing and implementing comprehensive training programs (soil and rock logging, testing, data interpretation) for geotechnical staff, tailored to various levels of experience. • Developing training materials, including manuals, guides, and e-learning content, aligned within industry standards (e.g., BS5930, ISO, ASTM). • Delivering engaging and informative training sessions, both in-person and virtually. • Evaluating the progress and performance of trainees through assessments, practical exercises, and observations. • Providing constructive feedback to support continuous improvement and skill development. • Ensuring all training content adheres to company requirements, current industry standards, regulations, and best practices. • Staying informed about advancements in geotechnical methods and integrate them into training programs. • Acting as a mentor to geotechnical logging staff, fostering a culture of learning and professional growth. • Serving as a point of expertise for technical queries and guidance. • Promoting and training safe work practices, including risk assessments and adherence to HSE regulations. • Leading by example in maintaining a safe and ethical working environment. • Assessing the effectiveness of training programs regularly and updating them based on feedback and industry changes. • Collaborating with management and site teams to identify evolving training needs. • Maintaining accurate training records, certifications, and compliance documentation. • Coordinating training schedules and allocating resources efficiently. • Representing the organisation at schools, career fairs, and recruitment events to inspire and attract new talent. • Supporting the recruitment process of new engineers by screening CVs and interviews. • Assisting engineers in developing competencies and skills required for achieving Geological and Civil Engineering Chartership. • Liaising with Training and Development team to align training objectives.
