About the Role
What’s in it for you?
This is a versatile role, whether you are an experienced Internal Business Development Manager looking to develop your career, or new to property finance. You will be provided with a high degree of autonomy, established funding lines, and an excellent financial reward (with discretionary quarterly and annual bonus payments). Supported with a bespoke training programme to give you all the tools required to succeed.
This role comes with excellent growth opportunities within a busy and exciting team. The pathway and progression for this role could be into a client-facing position. Initially, relationships are phone-based, and you'll support our External Business Development Managers.
The team
You’ll be joining an experienced and well-established sales function of 9 people. It is a fun, fast-paced and successful team that is part of a wider Residential Lending team, including Credit and Client Servicing functions.
What will you be doing?
* Manage, build and nurture relationships with existing and new brokers alike, providing indicative terms over the phone/ via email, and follow-up on prospective deals to see them through to successful application.
* Focus on developing long-term relationships with brokers that deliver repeat business, whilst providing an exceptional customer experience.
* We’re always trying to work smarter. You’ll play a key role in implementing new sales and marketing campaigns, improving your effectiveness as an IBDM, which we will 100% support you with.
Qualifications
Ideally, you’ll have:
* Demonstrated success in a KPI/targeted sales environment.
* Experience working at a lender, including bridging loans.
* Exceptional phone manner and communication skills, always with a customer focus.
