We’re hiring for Support Workers in Newquay
We have opportunities in two of our supported living settings in Quintrell Downs, Newquay. You will support three, fun energetic young men living in their own flats. They are active and enjoy a range of interests from skateboarding, beach and evenings out with friends or join our team supporting three people in their golden years, sharing their peaceful home together. Supporting in this small setting you get to work on a one to one basis, really focusing on the person, their preferences, needs and outcomes for the day.
The support you provide will be centred around each person, developing daily living skills, accessing a wider community, personal care and medication needs.
Working in friendly teams you’ll be supported in your role from day one. All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service to the people we support.
UK manual driving licence required.

Sleep-ins paid at £60 extra (basic salary £12.27 to £12.54 p/h)

To develop daily living skills.
Support the people we support to access their communities for socialisation, employment, training or friendships
To contribute to, develop and implement the individuals care plans.
To communicate effectively and professionally with people we support, their family members, and external professionals.
Maintain the health needs of the individuals we support

All support workers work flexible shifts to provide a 24/7 service. Successful applicants for this role will require an enhanced DBS check.
