Location: The Garden Clinic, Upton Hospital, Slough SL1 2BJ
We areseekingan enthusiastic and forward-thinking specialist nurse to join our sexual health team. Based in Slough, we are a busy level 3 sexual health service, withadditionalsatellite clinics in Windsor, Maidenhead, Ascot, and Bracknell and weoperateMonday to Friday, with one Saturday shift every 4 to 6 weeks.
Given the sensitive nature of the role, we are looking for candidates who are open-minded, non-judgmental, and capable of working in a highly confidential environment.Previousexperience in family planning or sexual health within a GUM setting is desirable.
As part of a multidisciplinary team,you'llhave access to excellent training opportunities, including non-medical prescriber training.

• The post holder willbe responsible forproviding a high standard of sexual reproductive healthcare to patients accessing the sexual health service.
• The post holder will be expected to work as part of a multi-disciplinary team offering holistic, non-judgemental sexual health caredemonstratingprofessional and ethical responsibilities and to build andmaintaingood working functional relationships with all members of the multidisciplinary team.
• The post holder will be expected to supervise and mentor junior staff and nursing students, and to take an active role in the leadership and management of the nursing team.
• This post involves working at the Garden Clinic in Slough, but you maybe requiredto travel to work at locality clinics in Bracknell, Windsor, and Maidenhead. It is desirable that you be a car driver with the use of a car for work purpose.
