Job summary Due to development and promotion, an exciting opportunity has arisen for band 5 dietitians to join our team at one of the South's largest hospitals. We are looking for individuals for our band 5 dietetic rotations covering oncology, stroke and acute medical caseloads. This band 5 rotational post provides the perfect opportunity to develop clinical and professional skills through structured competencies, a preceptorship programme and clinical effectiveness projects. Main duties of the job You will work within the Queen Alexandra Hospital site as part of the acute dietetic team providing input to patients falling within your rotation. Working closely with the other band 5 dietitians, you will prioritise dietetic referrals alongside your active caseload to ensure patients are seen appropriately. Working closely with the appropriate specialist MDTs you will develop the dietetic services alongside dietitians within the acute and community teams. The rotations include a weekly clinic that is covered between the rotations. Personal and service development is valued within the department and you will be supported to complete the competencies for your rotation and make the most of learning from our specialist teams in paediatrics, renal, head and neck cancer, oesophagogastric and intestinal failure specialities. Service review and development is a key part of all our posts and you will supported to develop analytical and research skills.
