The company are seeking to appoint a dynamic, enthusiastic Business Process Implementation Analyst to provide hands on implementation of management and control systems for a highly technological development and small-scale manufacturing environment. This is a new position and offers the opportunity for an individual to put processes in place.
The position is permanent and offers a long-term career opportunity, but a temporary option may be considered initially for the right candidate. Flexible hours, a nine-day fortnight, remote working, BUPA and a pension are available as part of the benefits package.
Training will be provided on the specific PLM system, ARENA.
Duties and Responsibilities
* Managing and implementing a Product Lifecycle Management (PLM) system based on PTC’s Arena PLM.
* This will include collating BOM’s, suppliers, data sheets, records and ECN notes as required. Two legacy systems will require to be integrated into the new system being implemented.
* Managing suppliers and supply chain required to sustain current and future operations.
* Implementing and managing Internal Work Order process for component and labour tracking.
* Develop reporting of product operations on a monthly basis.
* Develop needs forecast and prepare PO schedules for part procurement.
* Managing inventory and work in progress.
* Managing the sales order to delivery product life cycle for the business.
Skills, Experience and Qualifications
* Previous experience in the production of downhole tools would be advantageous.
* The ability to translate engineering notes and handwritten documents into BOM’s would be a significant attribute.
* Prior experience of implementation of PLM and work order management would be beneficial.
* An “attention to detail” is essential.
