This is a full-time position, working Monday to Friday, offering a competitive hourly rate of £23-£29. The role is set to commence on 28 October 2024 and will continue on an ongoing basis. Duties and Responsibilities: You will be responsible for dispensing medications and providing pharmaceutical care to patients, ensuring compliance with all relevant regulations and standards. You will assist in the management of pharmacy inventory and supplies, collaborating with healthcare professionals to optimize patient care. Additionally, you will maintain accurate records and documentation. To be successful in this role, you will need to be fully compliant with all necessary certifications and regulations, have proven experience as a Pharmacy Technician at Band 6 level, and possess strong attention to detail and excellent organizational skills. You will also need to work effectively as part of a team and have excellent communication and interpersonal skills. Qualifications and Experience: Experience/Knowledge: NVQ Level 3 in Pharmacy Services or Qualified Pharmacy Technician with relevant certification. Registration with the General Pharmaceutical Council (GPhC) as a pharmacy technician. Minimum of 2 years’ post-registration hospital pharmacy experience. Fully compliant with all necessary certifications and regulations. Skills/Abilities: Excellent verbal and written communication skills to effectively interact with patients and healthcare professionals. Good organizational skills to manage workload and meet deadlines. Strong problem-solving skills and the ability to make decisions under pressure. Ability to work effectively as part of a team.
