Our London Operations team are currently looking for an intern to join the Engineering Department in Maidenhead for either a 3 month or 12 month placement next Summer (2025). This position will be office based when not at a client’s location. As well as getting an in-depth understanding of the work of our Risk Engineering Consultants, this role involves supporting our office-based engineering team with the application of loss prevention concepts, accompanying our Field Engineering team on site visits, and carrying out various engineering projects. The work also involves a focus on the analysis of associated automatic fire protection systems to ensure that designs are in accordance with FM’s Property Loss Prevention Standards. Ideally you will be an Engineering undergraduate with a predicted 2:1 or above in Mechanical, Electrical, Civil or Chemical Engineering. Excellent communication skills, flexibility, and the willingness to work as part of a professional team are essential.
