Key Responsibilities: Lead the UK Business Development team, driving new business and establishing lasting partnerships across Europe. Proactively headhunt and network to secure new clients, specifically in software development services, with a focus on consultancy in AI, DevOps, and Agile. Design tailored solutions that meet client needs, covering the full project scope, including development, pricing, and negotiation. Foster strong relationships with existing clients to ensure satisfaction, secure repeat business, and build long-term collaborations. Collaborate with recruitment and delivery teams to address skill gaps and ensure successful project execution in the region. Develop, coach, and mentor your team, setting the tone for excellence and achievement of their business development goals. Act as an entrepreneurial leader, identifying opportunities for innovation, growth, and process improvements. Oversee the region's financial health, working closely with the CFO to manage profitability, margins, and ensure sustainable growth. Enhance the company's brand presence by participating in marketing initiatives, attending industry conferences, and engaging in thought leadership forums. Job Requirements: 10 years of business development experience in the IT services industry, with a focus on selling software development services and consultancy. Proven success in building and executing commercial strategies that drive sustained growth and market expansion. Demonstrated excellence in selling IT or software services to enterprise-level clients. Strong track record of new business acquisition, combined with an established network in the UK market. Experience in offshoring software services, particularly to regions such as India, with a solid understanding of global delivery models. Exceptional leadership abilities with experience leading high-performing business development teams and consistently exceeding targets. Entrepreneurial mindset with strategic thinking skills to drive business growth in both new and existing markets. Excellent communication, negotiation, and presentation skills, with the ability to engage and close high-value deals with C-suite executives. Willingness to travel to meet clients and build strong relationships. Minimum of a bachelor’s degree; an MBA or equivalent is preferred.
