We’re looking for positive, energetic, and professional Customer Service Advisors to join our team in Middlesbrough on a full time, permanent basis. You’ll spend your time on the phone, engaging with our customers and asking insightful questions to understand their needs. Our customers will reach out to you for advice and support, so your commitment to helping others and providing an exceptional experience will be essential. You'll work at least 40% of your week away from home, in our Middlesbrough office, moving to the majority of your working week from September 2025. Working Hours & Shift Pattern: Full time, 37.5 hours per week. Rotating 8-hour shifts between the hours of 8am to 8pm Monday to Friday. Some weekend work is also required, approx. 1 in 4 Saturdays. Induction & Training: Induction Date : 28th April 2025 You’ll receive a comprehensive onsite and virtual induction from our specialist trainers to set you up for success in your new role. When you start, you’ll join an academy for 8 weeks of dedicated training to ensure you are fully supported. We’ll provide you with career development that will be evaluated monthly with your manager during your first year, ensuring you have a clear path for career progression. Once you're up to speed, there's also the chance to study for a professional Chartered Institute of Insurers (CII) qualification, paid for and supported by AXA. What you’ll be doing: Developing and maintaining product knowledge across all AXA Direct offerings as per business requirements. Managing and responding to customer communications. Liaising with other business areas to ensure the customer query is dealt with in an efficient manner. Using best practice to deliver superior customer outcomes. Excellent telephone skills, able to build rapport and focus on the customer. Exceptional communication and listening skills with high attention to detail and quality.
