The role & what you take care of:
We are seeking a skilled and versatile Multi-skilled Trade Operative to join Magna. As part of our response repairs team, you'll enjoy a diverse and rewarding routine with great benefits. You'll play a key role in delivering high-standard work from the initial report to completion, whilst meeting our customer needs and complying with current legislation.
* The ideal candidate will possess a broad range of knowledge and skills across various trades, with expertise in bricklaying and general repairs including Roofing, Fencing, Plastering, Groundworks, Paving and Drainage.
* This role requires a skilled operative who can work independently, demonstrate a positive attitude, and interact politely and professionally with customers and colleagues.
* The successful candidate will participate in our out-of-hours on-call rota once every 10 – 12 weeks, for which you will receive an additional pay allowance.
What you need to be successful:
* Time served trade apprenticeship or C&G/NVQ level 2 or equivalent, with a minimum of 1 year’s post qualification experience in associated trades.
* You will be IT competent, as the role uses an iPad to receive, capture, record and complete all works accurately.
* You will hold a driving license and be prepared to travel to our customer’s homes across the Dorset and South Somerset area.
