About the role

As an OMP Consultant you’ll play a crucial role in driving end-to-end supply chain planning transformations for our clients across industries such as life sciences, consumer goods, and manufacturing. You will work closely with our clients to implement and deploy OMP solutions that optimize planning, scheduling, and supply chain efficiency. This role is hands-on, focusing on business process design & system implementation.
In this role, you will:
* Drive OMP Implementations: Design and deploy OMP modules such as Demand Forecasting (FCT), Sales & Operations Planning (SOP) and Operational Planning (OPR).
* Customize and Optimize Solutions: Set up pyramids, conflicts, dashboards and multi-user to meet client-specific business requirements, ensuring seamless integration with their broader supply chain planning.
* Analyze & Improve Business Processes: Conduct business process analysis to identify gaps and define solutions that enhance operational performance.
* Engage with Clients: Facilitate workshops and collaborate with key stakeholders to understand business needs and translate them into process and system requirements.
* Develop Functional & Technical Specifications: Create process documentation and detailed functional designs to ensure alignment with business goals and system capabilities.
* Drive Testing: Work alongside IT teams, and business users to test OMP solutions end to end.
* Support User Training & Change Management: Deliver training sessions and knowledge transfer to empower clients to maximize the value of OMP.
About you

* Hands-on OMP Experience: Proven expertise in implementing and configuring OMP planning applications, including solvers, dispatchers, and ADM rules.
* Deep Supply Chain Planning Knowledge: Strong understanding of manufacturing production scheduling (MPS), detailed planning (DPS), material requirements planning (MRP), and demand/supply balancing.
* Experience in Process Optimization: Background in improving supply chain operations, designing workflows, and enhancing planning performance.
* Technical & Functional Skills: Ability to bridge technical solutions and business needs, translating complex business needs into technical requirements.
* Strong Stakeholder Engagement: Ability to facilitate discussions, manage client expectations, and provide strategic recommendations.
* Collaborative Mindset: Experience working with cross-functional teams in an agile or hybrid project environment.
* Analytical Problem-Solving: Strong data-driven mindset with the ability to diagnose issues and develop effective solutions.
* Industry Exposure: Experience working with global organizations in life sciences, consumer goods, manufacturing, or chemicals is a plus.
* Educational Background: A Bachelor’s or Master’s degree in Supply Chain Management, Business, Engineering, or a related field.
* 4+ years of experience in supply chain planning, preferably with 6+ months of hands-on OMP configuration and deployment experience.
* Location: Our office is located in Millburn, NJ and we work in a hybrid way (50% in-office, 50% work from home). You should live in the New York City Metro Area or be flexible to relocate to this region. You will also have the opportunity to travel both domestically and internationally for client engagements.
