We are currently seeking an enthusiastic individual to join our client as a Commercial Property Surveyor. This exciting opportunity involves working closely with the Head of Estates and collaborating with colleagues to manage an extensive portfolio across the UK. This role primarily focuses on high-end property management cases within the company but the role will oversee management of the company's entire assets.
The successful candidate for this position should possess a minimum of five years' experience working in Estate Management as a Surveyor. They should have proven expertise in dealing with property matters, such as rent reviews, lease renewals, section 25 notices, and other statutory notices. The ability to effectively manage multiple projects within specified timelines and budgets is essential. Excellent negotiation skills are also required, particularly for complex and high-value transactions. Strong written and verbal communication skills are necessary for effective collaboration within the team. The ideal candidate should be self-motivated and capable of working independently with minimal supervision. A valid driving license is a requirement for this role.
Prior knowledge or experience of the planning system is desirable for this role, and that MRICS or potential to be chartered would also be highly considered, however these qualifications can be supported by the company as part of your professional development. The focus of your experience should be estate management.
Our client is offering a competitive salary ranging from £40,000 to £60,000, depending on experience, along with a car allowance and a company bonus scheme. You will also receive 25 days of annual leave, which increases with service and generous pension and healthcare scheme.
This role is based in Gloucestershire but there is hybrid working in place, so you are not expected to be in the office full time, particularly as this role will require travel to other sites.
