As a Teaching Assistant, you will play a key role in helping to deliver a broad and balanced curriculum, supporting children’s academic and personal development. The school places a strong emphasis on reading, personal growth, and inclusivity, ensuring all pupils, including those with SEND, receive the support they need to thrive.
Key Responsibilities:
* Support pupils’ learning and development in line with the school’s core values of trust, mindfulness, peace, and friendship.
* Assist in delivering engaging lessons that promote curiosity, resilience, and confidence.
* Provide tailored support for children, including those with additional needs, ensuring they can fully participate in lessons.
* Foster an inclusive and respectful learning environment where pupils feel valued and encouraged.
* Promote a love of reading, supporting phonics sessions and structured reading activities.
* Help implement a well-structured curriculum across subjects, ensuring pupils build their knowledge and skills over time.
* Encourage pupils to take on responsibilities such as eco-councillors, IT monitors, or worship leaders, enhancing their confidence and sense of responsibility.
