Looking for a logistics person that will work for a leading satellite communications company based in Hereford. The role will give the candidate access to leading edge technologies. Ideally suited to candidates that have previous logistics experience with technical aptitude and wish to work for a dynamic local company. They will have experience utilising an online inventory system, will be self-motivated and able to work without constant supervision. Duties: Your duties as a Logistics Controller may include but are not limited to: Receiving and booking in goods and accessories on arrival at site Allocating stock to Projects Working with the Engineering and Project teams to ensure goods are available for delivery to end customer and internal staff for Demonstrations and Exhibitions Arranging for goods to be returned to manufacturer for repair/replacement Ensuring goods in and out are re-conditioned and fit for delivery Working quickly and efficiently to deadlines and being accountable and responsible The role will include lifting and the candidate will need to meet the physical demands of a busy store. Identify slow moving stock and reassign locations to meet actual stock movement demands Booking courier collections Organise stock counts Investigate stock discrepancies Driving company vehicle for collections & deliveries Store, maintain & organise delivery documentation Skills: Quality Control Required Good level of numeracy and accuracy Ability to work on own initiative Ability to work under pressure and at a fast pace Ability to update computer records Experience of SAGE 200 or similar software Ability to use Microsoft Office tools Valid driving licence Hours: Office environment Mon – Thurs 8.30 – 17.00, Fri 8.30 – 14.30 Salary dependant on experience Benefits: 28 days annual leave plus bank holidays Opt in Private Healthcare & Dental (Family cover if required) Opt in Company Pension Discretionary bonus scheme Due to the nature of the business a background check will be required About You About Us Not Specified
