Job Description:
To support our continued success and ongoing expansion, a vacancy has arisen within our busy Exeter depot as a Delivery Driver. This role is vital to the smooth running of the depot and to ensure we are meeting customer expectations. Please see below a comprehensive list of duties and responsibilities:
* Loading, unloading, preparing, cleaning, and operating a vehicle for delivery duties.
* Management of customers’ stock levels.
* Operating a delivery vehicle safely, legally and efficiently as required.
* Complying with all drivers hours and Road Transport Directive legislation.
* Complying with all Health & Safety requirements in depot, on road and at customers’ premises and taking responsibility for ensuring own fitness to drive at all times.
* Sanitising coolers on customers' premises in a safe and responsible manner.
* Maintaining, installing, sanitising, transporting and delivering stock to customer premises in a safe and secure fashion, this is to include our mains fed dispensers.
* Installing free trials to potential customers at their premises, and their possible exchange or collection.
* Proactively try to sign up new customers when carrying out trial collections.
* Acting as company ambassador when dealing with customers and prospects and aiding in the conversion of prospective business, and trials into customers.
* Generate driver leads (warm leads) which can be fed back to the sales team.
* Obtaining customer reviews.
* Offer upgrades to existing customers.
* Practicing good customer service in accordance with the company’s work ethic.
* Observing and maintaining administrative processes.
* Assisting the growth of the company which may involve ad hoc prospects or other activities.
