SEN Teachers (Full-Time – Potential for Permanent)

A thriving and Outstanding special school within Knowsley Local Authority is seeking to appoint two dedicated and passionate Special Educational Needs (SEN) Teachers to join their exceptional team.
This highly regarded school provides specialist education for pupils with Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCPs), specifically catering for those with severe learning difficulties (SLD) and/or complex autism. Accredited by the National Autistic Society (NAS), the school is committed to delivering the highest standards of personalised learning and development for all pupils.
Pupils are taught in developmental stages with a curriculum tailored to meet individual needs, supporting holistic progress and positive outcomes. The school community works collaboratively to create a nurturing, inspiring, and inclusive learning environment.
The ideal candidate will:
* Be an enthusiastic, compassionate, and resilient teacher
* Have experience working with pupils with SLD, autism, or complex needs (or a strong interest in developing this experience)
* Demonstrate excellent classroom and behaviour management skills
* Have a commitment to personalised learning and inclusion

* Show understanding and respect for the individual needs of pupils
* Communicate effectively with pupils, families, and colleagues

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
