You'll deliver engaging history lessons at KS4 and KS5, covering a range of historical periods and events, and inspire students to develop a critical understanding of the past. We are seeking a great History Teacher. Responsibilities Plan and deliver engaging History Teacher lessons, tailored to the curriculum. Prepare students for GCSE and A-Level examinations, ensuring strong academic outcomes. Develop students' analytical and research skills through historical inquiry. Assess and monitor student progress, providing constructive feedback and support. Contribute to the development of the history curriculum and resources. Organise and lead history-related extracurricular activities, such as history clubs and trips. Requirements Qualified Teacher Status (QTS) with a specialism in History. Proven experience in teaching history at secondary level, including A-Level. Strong subject knowledge and a passion for historical inquiry. Excellent communication and presentation skills.
