SEND TA Full time Permanent placement/Temp to perm £19, 000 - £23,000 Based in SN15 This is a fantastic opportunity to work within a Special School, you will be working with children that have a wide range of special educational needs & disabilities. Experience working with children who have physical disabilities is essential. There are a number of different opportunities within the school so are open to applications from candidates with experience across a variety of age groups and special needs. As a Teaching Assistant some of the key fields you will be responsible for include (but are not limited to): Participate in activities designed to meet the emotional, physical and learning needs of individual children and groups of children Contribute to the monitoring and delivery of Education, Health and Care Plans (EHCP) Monitor CYP’s responses to learning activities and encourage them throughout Develop and maintain effective relationships with individual CYP and groups to ensure that they are developing Your Experience It is really important to us that you feel comfortable and confident in your role, so although you may not have everything desirable, there are some essential features our appointee will need to have and these include: A nice personality They are a lovely school that are proud to have a very supportive and happy workforce Experience of working with SEND children Good behaviour management skills Relevant experience of supporting children with emotional, physical or learning needs Commencing in September 2024, you will be working full time between the hours of 8:30am - 3:30pm.
