Main Roles & Responsibilities:
* Provide 1:1 support to designated pupils, encouraging and guiding them through the work set by the class teacher.
* Shadow the pupil throughout the school day, including during lunch as needed.
* Ensure the pupil is ready for lessons, with all necessary equipment, and punctual.
* Proactively manage potential disruptions, de-escalate situations, and, if needed, remove the pupil from lessons.
* Build productive working relationships with the pupil, setting clear expectations.
* Provide positive encouragement, feedback, and praise to boost self-esteem.
* Promote inclusion, encouraging pupils to interact and engage with peers.

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
