Hours Full time role working 6 days a week
We are looking for fun, creative people with experience working with children/teens to lead and manage the social programmes on our residential summer courses for international students aged 8-17.
These are full-time, residential roles working 6 days a week (free accommodation and meals provided). You’ll be working at Benenden School, Kent (Sun 6 July – Wed 6 Aug) or Winchester College, Hampshire (Mon 30 July – Friday 1 Aug).
You will be passionate about offering our students an exciting range of afternoon and evening activities including sports, arts & crafts, drama, competitions and entertainments.
In conjunction with Head Office staff, you will plan and lead two excursions per week and ensure they run smoothly.
You will lead and manage a diverse team of approx. 8-10 Activity Leaders so previous experience of training, managing, and supporting staff is important.
You will ensure that all activities are well-planned and carried out safely.
You will be a member of the Senior Management Team at the centre – this role requires a high standard of commitment and professionalism.

Salary and benefits
* Training at our senior staff training weekend 4-6 April 2025 at Winchester College
* One off payment of £320 for pre-course work
* Set up and induction (usually 3-4 days), paid pro-rata
* Discretionary performance bonus
Skills and Experience Required
You need to be able to:
* Oversee an effective and varied social programme of afternoon activities, evening entertainments and excursions
* Provide excellent customer care to students, the host centre, external providers, visitors
* Stay organised, positive and proactive
* Confidently use Google suite
* Work comfortably in fast-paced intense environments
* Provide a clear and accurate model of the English language
To succeed in this role, you should already have:
* Previous experience of supervising groups of children/teenagers
* Experience of leading and motivating teams
* Experience in events planning and management
* A great eye for detail. You’ll be working to exacting standards
* Strong public speaking skills and able to take a ‘front-of-house’ role
