Job Duties:
- Provide tailored educational support to Key Stage 2 (KS2) students with Special Educational Needs (SEN) in outreach settings
- Develop and implement individualised learning plans to meet the specific needs of each student
- Deliver engaging and interactive lessons that cater to various learning styles
- Monitor student progress and adjust teaching strategies as necessary
- Collaborate with parents, teachers, and other professionals to ensure a holistic approach to student development
- Maintain accurate records of student performance and feedback
Required Qualifications:
- Qualified Teacher Status (QTS)
- Experience working with children with SEN
- Knowledge of the KS2 curriculum
- Strong communication and interpersonal skills
Education:
- Bachelor's degree in Education or relevant field
Experience:
- Minimum of 2 years of experience in a similar role
Knowledge and Skills:
- Understanding of SEN support strategies
- Ability to differentiate instruction to meet diverse learning needs
- Excellent organisational and time management skills
Preferred Qualifications:
- Additional training in SEN support
- Experience working in outreach or community settings
Working Conditions:
- Part-time hours
- Temporary position
- Work primarily in outreach locations (learners homes, schools and local libraries)
- Potential travel within the East of England region

All pay rates quoted will be inclusive of 12.07% statutory holiday pay. This advert is for a temporary position. In some cases, the option to make this role permanent may become available at a later date.
