Join our dynamic finance team in Corby as a Senior Commercial Finance Manager. We need you to manage our divisional Finance Assistant, prepare management accounts, and support divisional Directors and Senior Managers.
Key Responsibilities:
* Manage divisional Finance Assistant, ensuring they meet and exceed key accountabilities.
* Support Finance Assistant in preparing management accounts, including reconciliation, posting journals, and reporting.
* Oversee the production of budgets and forecasts, providing critical insights and support to ensure ongoing accuracy and effectiveness.
* Provide first-class commercial support to divisional Directors and Senior Managers.
* Present in-depth performance analysis at divisional Profit & Loss review meetings.
* Apply statutory accounting principles accurately and provide expert advice to supported areas.
Requirements:
* Recognised accounting qualification such as ACCA, CIMA, ACA, or equivalent.
* Strong academic background showcasing a perfect blend of accounting and commercial skills.
* Proven experience in financial analysis, budgeting, forecasting, and financial modelling.
* Prior experience in a commercial finance or business partnering role, engaging with multiple key stakeholders within a commercial business.
* Ability to understand and analyse complex financial data, driving strategic decision-making.
* Effective communication skills, conveying financial insights to both financial and non-financial stakeholders.
* Analytical and inquisitive mind, with attention to detail and ability to work effectively under pressure.
* Ability to work collaboratively within a cross-functional team environment.
