Teacher of Art and Design
Required for September 2025
Part time (0.5 – 0.7 FTE depending on your preference, with the possibility of full time)
We are seeking a well-qualified and inspirational teacher to teach Art & Design across the school. Art & Design is successful, thriving and highly-regarded and includes Fine Art, Graphics and some textiles and crafts. The department has three specialist and very well-resourced centre-piece classrooms. The team are superb; highly experienced, utterly passionate and very friendly, led by an experienced Head of Department and supported by a longstanding and exceptionally knowledgeable technician.
We are looking for a dedicated, enthusiastic, and compassionate teacher who will enable the girls to achieve their personal bests. We wish to appoint someone who loves Art and Design and can share this passion with the girls. You will teach across the curriculum in Art and Design at KS3 and have the ability to teach exam classes in Fine Art and/or Graphics, although we can provide support and training if you would like to develop this over time. We can offer part time between 0.5 – 0.7 FTE or full time, including to ECTs, if you are willing to offer another subject/course e.g. EPQ, Cookery, Sixth Form Co-curricular Studies, PE etc.
