Job summary We are looking for an enthusiastic, studying, finance professional to join the Trusts Finance Team, playing a key role in shaping what our service delivery looks like and making a difference in the challenging financial environment, both now and in the future. The applicant should currently be studying for their CCAB qualification and be looking to qualify within the next 2 and a half years. On achievement of the CCAB qualification and progression through a competency framework there will be the opportunity to progress to a Band 7 Finance Partner role. They will need to be persuasive when dealing with conflicting priorities and ensure that financial opportunities and risks are quantified and understood at all levels of the Trust, and optimum value for money is achieved. The Trainee Finance Partner will liaise closely with Care Group and Trust stakeholders in an outward-facing role to utilise their financial acumen to support in the development of annual plans, forecasts and identification of key risks and mitigations to delivery of the plan. You will be involved in influencing business decisions by providing support and challenge in the development of business cases for investment. They should have excellent communication skills and the necessary personal qualities to engage effectively with Senior Managers and their teams.
