About The Role: As a member of the Facilities Support team you will assist with the provision of cleaning and facilities support as required within the DC Thomson office at Meadowside in Dundee. The facilities team are responsible for ensuring the smooth running of the office and maintaining a clean and safe environment for visitors and staff. This role reports to the Office Manager, Estates & Operations. The purpose of this role is to support the Office Manager in general facilities duties as required on a day-to-day basis. No two days will be the same, the job will involve some cleaning, occasional cover for security, meeting room and event set up and general maintenance within the office. The job will be based in our Meadowside Office, and a full driving licence is required as there will be occasional requirement for collection and movement of items between or offices. Given the nature of some of the business operations there may be occasional requirements for work out with normal business hours. As part of your role, your key responsibilities will include, but are not limited to: To maintain cleanliness and hygiene standards on site, during the sites operational hours, whilst customers/stakeholders are using the areas To liaise with the clients daily operational lead throughout the shift, to be reactive to spillages or debris noted, and to follow an agreed schedule To work as safely as possible whilst members of the public of the clients team are present, to ensure a safe environment Duties will include but not be limited to: refreshing toilets, refreshing kitchenettes, loading/unloading dishwashers, reactive cleaning to spillages The ideal candidate should meet the following criteria: Must have right to work in the UK To be personable and confident Experience within a front of house role, or in a customer services or experience team is desirable Good understanding of health and safety How to Apply: If you are interested in joining a business that encourages professional development, career progression and the chance to work with inspirational people then please click apply and register your interest You can also sign up to our job alerts when registering which will notify you when other suitable vacancies are available.
