Staffing Match, one of the fastest growing agencies within the UK, is proud to present an excellent opportunity for HGV and 7.5t Drivers in Huntingdon for one of our national suppliers of bedroom furniture. They are a leading supplier across the UK and currently have unlimited openings for Drivers in Huntingdon. The job involves delivering bedroom furniture such as mattresses, bed frames, nightstands, etc. to customers around Huntingdon.
The role involves going out on the road in a 2-man crew, delivering and offering exquisite customer service, ensuring proper representation of the company's name.
Your key responsibilities as a HGV / 7.5T Delivery Driver will include:
1. Safely completing deliveries in a 2-man crew.
2. Complying with UK Road Law and Regulations, as well as Working Time Regulations.
3. Completing daily vehicle checks before going on the road.
4. Offering exquisite customer service.
5. Ensuring merchandise is secure in the lorry.
6. Wearing overshoes in customers' homes and gloves during delivery.
7. Delivering all products to the customer's room of choice.
8. Working in a team with the porter.
9. Leaving customer homes tidy, recycling any removed packaging.
About the HGV / 7.5T Driver within you:
1. Must hold a UK licence with category C1 or above!
2. Must hold a valid CPC and Digital tacho card!
3. Previous experience in driving 7.5t or above vehicles within the UK!
4. Able to complete heavy lifting deliveries!
5. Friendly attitude towards customers, as you would like to be treated by a delivery crew!
6. Excellent work ethic!
7. A desire to succeed!
