Your Role and Responsibilities
Step into a role designed for architects ready to embrace the strategic side of design. You’ll:
* Support the Delivery of Flagship Projects: Work on large-scale cultural, mixed-use, masterplanning, and hospitality projects valued from £50 million to £600+ million across the UK and internationally (with opportunities for travel).
* Coordinate Multidisciplinary Teams: Ensure smooth collaboration between consultants, design teams, and clients.
* Engage with Clients and Stakeholders: Lead client meetings, refine project briefs, assist with change management, and contribute to impactful presentations at key project stages.
* Support Design Programmes: Help create design schedules, responsibility matrices, and project roadmaps.
What We’re Looking For
We’re seeking individuals ready to take their architectural career in a new direction, leveraging their existing skills to move into a strategic and management-focused role.
Key Requirements:
* Experience: A minimum of 2 years post RIBA Part II experience or up to 5 years post-Part III experience as a qualified Architect.
* Project Involvement: Experience with medium-to-large-scale projects (£25+ million) in a UK-based studio, with demonstrable exposure across earlier RIBA Stages.
* Software Skills: Proficiency in MS Office. Familiarity with additional management software (MS Project) is advantageous, though training will be provided.
* Understanding of Design Management: Knowledge of project workflows, documentation, and client or consultant interaction, including examples of design programmes you’ve created/contributed to.
* Communication: Strong organisation, collaboration and stakeholder engagement skills.
* Lead Consultant Experience (Desirable): Experience with lead consultancy roles, coordinating teams and client deliverables.
