That's us Key Duties Include: Reviewing samples, drawings or instructions to understand specifications of output Planning the sequence of necessary actions for the completion of a job Taking measurements and mark material for cutting or shaping Selecting appropriate machines and position or load material for a job Determining and program size of batches, speed of machine etc. Monitoring machine while working to adjust the feed, maintain temperature and identify issues Checking output to ensure consistency with specifications and discard defects Keeping records of approved and defective units or final products The Ideal Person will have: At least 2 years experience working as a machinist Ability to work on own initiative and under direction Ability to work as part of a team A “ can do attitude” and will be diligent and reliable Other Information: Applicants will be expected to provide written evidence of their right to work in the UK and to demonstrate their adherence to the above criteria in the application form.
