Standby Healthcare are working with a dynamic and forward-thinking provider of residential care for children and young people, seeking a Residential Support Worker to be based in a children's residential home. Our client was founded in 2023, their service is bespoke to each child or young person they support, with each environment being tailored to their needs, allowing us to offer them the best chances possible for development and growth.

Responsibilities
Assist individuals with daily living activities, ensuring their comfort and safety.
Implement and follow care plans tailored to the specific needs of each individual.
Provide childcare support, engaging children in educational and recreational activities.
Communicate effectively with individuals, families, and other professionals to ensure cohesive care.
Maintain accurate records of care provided and any changes in the individual's condition.
Drive individuals to appointments or activities as required, ensuring safe transportation.
Utilise IT skills for documentation and communication purposes.
Experience
Previous experience working with children and young people with learning disabilities, ASD and or complex needs.
Minimum 12 months experience working in Children's Residential
NVQ Level 3 in children's residential is desirable, must be willing to complete
Strong communication skills are essential for interacting with individuals and their families.
A valid driving licence is essential
IT proficiency is necessary for managing documentation and communication effectively.
