SENIOR ACCOUNT MANAGER
Wates have an excellent opportunity for a technically strong Senior Account Manager to provide operational leadership, technical management, added value, and development for one of our unique accounts.
ABOUT THE ROLE
We are looking for a Senior Account Manager with experience of working in a transferable environment, with strong demonstrable experience of leading people and managing a multi-diverse team. A recognised technical qualification and membership to the Institute of Safety and Health (IOSH) or equivalent is required, coupled with solid financial/commercial acumen and experience of running a P&L to ensure budget achievement.
To be successful in this role, you will possess strong interpersonal, problem-solving, and change management skills, demonstrating the ability to balance the integration of requirements and policies with those of the client. You should be able to make effective and persuasive presentations on complex topics to employees, clients, and senior management.

Key Accountabilities as a Senior Account Manager include:
1. Lead and motivate the Wates FM team by example and deliver excellence and first-class sustainable hard M&E and Fabric service provisions.
2. Provide visible leadership and liaise effectively to nurture relationships with key client stakeholders.
3. Ensure compliance with all statutory, safety, quality, environmental, security, and relevant Wates Professional Standards, creating a Zero Harm culture. Ensure timely upload of compliance certification onto ACT (Assurance Compliance Tool).
4. Implement and safeguard best practices for commercial activity related to contract management and manage specialists and suppliers to ensure dynamic MI reporting and delivery of KPI/SLA targets.
