Job summary We have an exciting opportunity available to join our Renal Department as a Renal Dialysis Administrator. We are looking for a dynamic and enthusiastic person with a flexible approach to ensure a first-class service is delivered to our patients. The successful candidate will be a point of contact for patients, relatives and carers, colleagues and external agencies to ensure continuity of patient care. Main duties of the job The successful candidate will have excellent communication skills, an eye for detail and be fully conversant with Microsoft Excel spreadsheets. You will be providing the Renal Department, internal hospital departments and external agencies with accurate and reliable clinical information regarding renal dialysis patients and their treatment through the operation, development and maintenance of a clinical database system. Knowledge of hospital systems would be desirable however not essential as full training will be given to the right person. You will be working within a very specialised department providing a first-class service. You will possess an empathetic nature dealing with poorly patients and their families which can often be sensitive and distressing.
