Programme Manager role:
• We seek a Programme Manager to lead and support a team in delivering construction projects efficiently and safely, from design to commissioning, within budget and to specification, while ensuring customer satisfaction.
Programme Manager responsibilities:
• Lead projects, manage contracts, and oversee design-to-delivery transitions.
• Responsible for project health and safety, report to monthly project management meetings and support Construction and Delivery Leads with contract matters and problem-solving.
• Responsible for staff training and development, maintaining client relationships, resolving issues, and promoting exceptional safety and delivery quality to all.
• Conduct thorough Technical, Safety, and Environmental reviews with the Design Manager to ensure project success.
• Ensure Construction and Delivery Leads/Site Managers review MS/RA and Construction delivery plans with H&S in mind.
• Develop work procedures for quality control.
• Report and cost all site non-conformities.
• Manage project commercial aspects effectively, providing accurate forecasts and estimates.
• Adhere to Quality, Safety, and Environmental Policies and Targets.
Programme Manager requirements:
Essential:
• Experienced in managing projects of all sizes and complexities.
• Degree or equivalent in a construction-related field.
• APMP or equivalent.
• A delivery-focused leader who can motivate teams and achieve project objectives in terms of time, cost, and quality.
• Strategic, operational, technical and management skills.
Desirable:
• Water/wastewater infrastructure experience.
• Experience in using Primavera or Power project.
• Chartered or near chartered in a construction discipline.
• Working knowledge of construction Health & Safety.
