Ventro are currently looking to recruit a Project Manager to join our team based in Bristol. The primary role of a Project Manager is to ensure that projects are delivered on schedule, within the budget and according to H&S and the client’s requirements.
Purpose of the role:
To manage a successful team responsible for the projects operation of our active fire division, providing support and inspiration to grow the organisation at the targeted rate. To position the active fire division of the Ventro Group at the forefront of the industry instigating strategies to increase profitability and customer relationships.
Main Duties of the role:
Responsible for Project performance, minimum expectations:
* Processing sales orders on receipt and liaising with engineers for smooth transition on delivery
* Management of the project delivery to time scale and to budget
* Effective delegation and supervision of task to office administrator
* Staying ahead of your market, BS standards, legislation changes, your competition.
* Responsible for achieving your monthly forecast target and achieving team targets
* Looking for additional sales opportunities on projects
* Weekly reporting to management
* Responsible for quality assurance and sign off of projects
* Attending monthly team meetings and sharing best practices and experiences
Responsible for Operational Support, minimum expectations:
* Telephone answering
* Monitoring, coaching and motivation of team to improve turnover and productivity
* Managing budgets effectively and being aware of costs
Representation:
* Understand the company’s obligations under the contract
* Ensure compliance with Ventro processes and procedures at all times
* Maintain a presentable image by adherence to the Ventro dress code
* Promote the profile of Ventro
* Promote a clear focus on quality assurance, service accessibility and responsiveness, maximising client involvement and feedback
* Engage actively with key Clients
* Attend Client and communication events, open days, meetings and conferences
* Promote customer service excellence
* Supporting the business in community initiatives, events, new business and customer presentations
Communication:
* Liaise with customers and attend site meetings
* Regular interaction with suppliers
* Develop and maintain productive relationships with all members of the Active team
We are also seeking an individual with a minimum of LPCB – Sprinkler Basic Design or equivalent.
