Job description As a HR Business Partner, you will be part of our nationally dispersed HR Operations team within the wider HR and OD team. You will work closely with HR colleagues and the Senior HR Management team to delivery operational and strategic HR outcomes, as a genuine Business Partner to senior managers and their extended management teams. This is a great place to work as the HR service is critical to Cafcass achieving the best possible outcomes for children, working as it does in close partnership with operational staff and managers to enable them to deliver outstanding frontline and corporate support services. In terms of what you can expect to be doing in this role, this is likely to include: Providing timely, accurate and robust advice and guidance on full range of routine and complex HR issues, including employee relations casework. Play a leading role in restructuring and change programme, including project planning, producing business cases and impact assessments and producing HR case plans. Provide direct, expert guidance to decision-makers throughout all stages of formal procedures. Provide support and expertise to senior HR colleagues to develop, progress and implement people management solutions. Forging close and influential working relationships with internal stakeholders. Person specification As a HR Business Partner you will have: Experience and knowledge of HR issues, legislation, policies and procedures. Ability to operate in a high tempo environment, within a complex organisation. Effective interpersonal and communication skills, to build and maintain relationships with a wide range of stakeholders. Capability to produce high quality written work. Commitment to contribute to the continuous improvement of frontline and corporate support services. A strong background in supporting line managers with people management and development issues; and A proactive approach to resolving employee relations casework, drawing on your strong analytical and problem-solving skills.
