About the Job
The Consulting team is seeking an Associate Delivery Consultant to support our Data Governance Business Process Outsource (BPO), Managed Service, and Consultancy offerings. This role will play a key part in assisting with the delivery of solutions that align with clients' Data Governance needs, including areas such as Data Discovery, Data Mapping, Sensitivity Classification, Data Lifecycle Management, Data Minimization, Data Privacy, Data Security Posture, and Data Disposition.
As part of a collaborative and innovative team, you will work under the guidance of more senior consultants to support solution delivery, ensure successful implementation, and contribute to positive client outcomes via our service offerings. This position reports to the Delivery Consultant Team Leader and offers opportunities to develop technical expertise and consulting skills in a dynamic environment.
Role Responsibilities
As an Associate Delivery Consultant, you will:
* Support more senior consultants in delivering tailored Data Governance solutions by assisting with configuration, integration, and onboarding/offboarding of data sources.
* Collaborate with clients and internal teams to understand business requirements, ensuring solutions meet their goals.
* Assist in documenting solution designs, progress, and lessons learned to maintain high-quality service delivery.
* Participate in identifying challenges and opportunities for improvement to ensure client success.
* Work with cross-functional teams, including engineering, product management, and customer success, to deliver seamless services.
* Own and help build out our development lab environment to support the investigation of new capabilities, use cases, and offerings as well as help support the knowledge of the technology that underpins our services.
* Contribute to maintaining technical documentation and delivery artefacts, supporting efficient service delivery for new and existing clients.
Technical Skills/Experience
* 1–2 years of experience in application consulting, analysis, or delivery roles (client-facing roles preferred).
* Basic understanding of Data Governance concepts such as data discovery, classification, and retention.
* Familiarity with structured and unstructured data in enterprise environments.
* Foundational knowledge of Linux operating systems, containerization technologies (e.g., Docker), and cloud platforms.
* Basic understanding of file protocols (e.g., CIFS, NFS) and networking concepts (e.g., TCP/IP stack, DNS, VPN).
* Experience creating or contributing to technical documentation.
Advantageous Skills
* Exposure to data discovery tools like BigID, OneTrust, or similar solutions.
* Experience in the installation, configuration, and support of enterprise applications.
* Familiarity with scripting (e.g., Python, Regular Expressions) or tools like Postman.
* Experience with data visualization tools (e.g., Power BI, Tableau).
* Cloud platform certifications (e.g., AWS, Azure) or relevant training.
