Job Description
We have an exciting opportunity for a Quality Management Analyst in Manchester. The role is responsible for support a portfolio of delivery areas of the Quality Management System, maintain processes and data owned by Quality and provide technical expertise to the function and wider organization.
Responsibilities/accountabilities will include (but are not limited to):
* Support, maintain and improve the processes associated with those delivery areas assigned by the Manager.
* Identify changing business needs that may lead to the requirement for change or improvements to processes.
* Maintain specialist knowledge and awareness of developments in SAP and supported Quality IT tools.
* Develop, collaborate and implement digital tools and ERP systems.
* Ensure training materials for use by the Quality function to deploy the QMS are provided and maintained. Train the trainers. Ensure understanding of the requirements of the delivery area are understood and the organization can become and remain compliant.
* Measure performance of the tools including feedback from the Quality function and wider organization, and put in place improvements.
* Ability to work effectively with a network of subject matter experts within Quality and the wider organization.
* Provide user support for Quality System tools, drive continuous improvement in the overall performance of those tools through analysis of support requests and issues raised.
* Drive special projects related to digital, quality improvements & data science/analysis.
Qualifications
What we are looking for

* 5 years+ experience in manufacturing or R&D organization with quality management and continuous improvement culture.
* Expert in SAP Quality Management.
* Data Management and maintenance.
* Experienced in investigation and root cause analysis.
* User support and / or key user of IT tools.
* Excellent command of English. Other languages would be a distinct advantage.
* Batchelor Degree in Chemistry / Biology / Agronomy (or similar discipline).
* Knowledge of the Crop Protection product range, SAP QM module and Quality Management. System tools within Syngenta is an advantage.
* Knowledge in project management is an advantage.
* Certified Quality Auditor desirable.
Additional Information
The role is based in our Global Operations Centre in Manchester. This is a hybrid contract, with a minimum 2 days per week to be worked in the office, with remote working available for the remainder of the week (for the first few months, there may be a requirement to spend up to 3 days per week onsite). The site is a local hub for worldwide operations, ensuring growers, globally, have access to the right product at the right time.
