Trwy ein gwaith sicrhau ansawdd, rydym yn cefnogi addysgwyr gwaith cymdeithasol mewn lleoliadau addysg ac ymarfer, gan sicrhau'r lefel uchaf o hyfforddiant ar gyfer y genhedlaeth nesaf o weithwyr cymdeithasol.\n\nRydym nawr yn chwilio am Swyddog Dysgu a Datblygu i ymuno â ni ar gyfer cytundeb cyfnod mamolaeth 12 mis.

Our vision is to make a positive difference to care and support for children, adults, and their families and carers.\n\nTo achieve this, we lead on developing and regulating the social care workforce, service improvement, and data and research to improve care. Through our quality assurance work, we support social work educators in both education and practice settings, ensuring the highest level of training for the next generation of social workers.\n\nWe are now looking for a Learning and Development Officer to join us for a 12 month maternity cover contract. Full-time working at 36 hours per week is available, however, we are open to flexibility.\n\nYou must be based in the UK to apply for this role and be able to visit one of the stated offices when required.\n\nThe Benefits \n\n- Salary of £35,785 - £37,836 per annum\n- 28 days’ holiday plus bank holidays (increasing with length of service)\n- Extra days off between Christmas and New Year\n- Local government pension scheme\n- Flexi work policy\n- Family leave policy\n\nThe Role \n\nAs a Learning and Development Officer, you will lead the co-ordination and delivery of staff learning and development activities across the organisation.
\n\nSupporting the growth and capability of employees, you will implement effective training programmes and ensure compliance with learning objectives.\n\nWorking closely with the leadership team and managers, you will administer, evaluate, and report on learning opportunities in line with our Learning and Development Strategy and annual training plans. \n\nAdditionally, you will:\n\n- Manage the Learning and Development Hub on SharePoint\n- Organise and administer face-to-face and e-learning programmes and events\n- Lead the review of current policies and training delivery methods\n- Support the planning for a future Learning Management System\n\nAbout You\n\nTo be considered as a Learning and Development Officer, you will need:\n\n- Experience in a learning and development or human resources role\n- Experience of partnering with colleagues across all levels to support learning and development\n- Knowledge of Microsoft products including Excel, Word and Outlook\n- Current knowledge of effective learning and development methods\n- Strong communication skills with the ability to adapt communication style to meet the needs of the audience\n- Welsh language Skills\n\nOther organisations may call this role Learning and Development Executive, Learning and Development Co-ordinator, L&D Officer, or Learning, Training and Development Officer.\n\nReasonable adjustments can be made at any stage of the recruitment process for candidates with a disability, impairment or health condition, for example who are neuro-divergent or who use British Sign Language.
