St. Andrew’s School is looking to appoint a highly organised, articulate and friendly individual to provide full-time receptionist duties and assist with administrative tasks in the Main School Office. You will be the positive first impression of St. Andrew’s, creating a welcoming environment for all visitors, students and staff members; being adaptable and confident with good spoken and written communication skills, you will also have an excellent telephone manner and the ability to stay calm under pressure. The role also requires delivery of first aid and medication to KS2 pupils and responsibility for managing the first aid requirements for pupils with specific medical needs. You will be the School’s First Aider at Work and receive full training and support for this role. Experience working within a school environment and knowledge of an MIS would be advantageous. There is also the availability of additional hours to manage/support the running of the School Breakfast Club for the right candidate. You will have: A good standard of general education with strong IT skills and experience using standard office programmes Organisational skills are essential with the proven ability to prioritise your work and ability to deal with a wide range of situations You may have experience of working in a School Office although we recognise the many transferrable skills that candidates can offer. The ability to work under pressure in a friendly and professional manner, dealing with staff, parents and members of the public.
